Team Typhoon just uploaded a youtube video showing us proof of concept that they managed to fully hack the PSPGo and run custom firmware 6.10 on it. Don’t get too excited though, Team Typhoon said that “this will never be released to the general public or anyone else at all”. Whats this new fad of making exploit then teasing everyone else with it, its beyond me.
Disclaimer from Team Typhoon:
This video is for bragging rights ONLY (since it’s very cool nowadays) and shows our Proof of Concept 6.10 Custom Firmware running on the PSPgo. This will never be released to the general public or anyone else at all whether you are a dev or not, this is Team Typhoon internal material, we have no reason whatsoever to waste a perfectly good exploit. So don’t ask for release dates. We don’t care about your complaining, whining and everything remotely related and it’s your own damn fault since you brought this on yourselves. Better version of the video showcasing more homebrew coming next week. Thanks go to Sony for this awesome piece of new hardware, finally a decent hardware revision. Also thanks to all historied PSP Homebrew developers for paving the way for us to be able to do this.
wtf?? why is team typhoon teasing us instead of publishing this new exploit? indeed that it's just braggin' rights. i mean i would actually go and buy a GO next week if the exploit would be released.
i hope that team GEN can actually brew up something for the GO and then knock on team typhoon. i do have a hunch that team typhoon might release 6.10 chickHEN if enough peeps ask for it.
The circumvent the console, just because they can, they do it for themselves, and i guess they wont be releasing it, because they are fed up with mindless lamers stealing games.
A circumvented console is for homebrew, not for losers to run ISO loaders and the morons that say "if it was hacked i would buy it", really piss me off.
Well done Team Typhoon
If nothing is going to be released don't care and they can keep it to themselves. If you want to keep it to yourself keep the whole proof of it to yourself and just live your life.
e-famers...
Well it will get released by an "internal leak", or may be someone might find the exploit and release it, we know its exploitable so its just a meter of time, unfortunately we will see stupid kids asking for iso loaders and isos all over again that is why i prefer if it wouldn't get released, stupid kids killing homebrew :S
I'm like "Wow... Poor ass mofo..."
