The latest CFWEnabler was just released for the PSP. What is CFWEnabler? It is aprogram that activates the functions of the M33 custom firmware using ChickHen (works on PSP-300/TA-088v3).
3.50 Changes:

So does that mean.... that mobo's with that format, are now hackable? well able to play hacked objects?

yes it work threw ChickenHEN so it work on any psp as long as it has firmware 5.03.

what you do is put the CFWEnabler files on your memory stick and put the ChickenHen image on your psp then you go to the image your psp will freez and restart then u go to CFWEnabler on your memory stick and run it
Noob problem here please help
I have a psp 1000 just recently updated to official firmware 5.03 hoping to get this running but when I try to launch the phat image the psp temporarily freezes and then shuts itself off. Any idea what's wrong here?
keep on doing that then after it restarts go into you settings menu in the xmb and scrool down to system setteings and see what the frimware version is if its somthing like chickenhen it means its work. its supose to freez and crash your psp and 5.03 is the frimware you have to be one
thanks boss but it's not working for me here's what I did
1. I took the tiff image file and place it under PSP/GAME/PHOTO
2. I took the bin file placed it in the root of the memory stick
3. I took cfwenabler 3.50 and placed it under folder PSP/GAME
When I try to launch the tiff image under photo, sometimes it randomly freezes then the psp shuts off before I get a chance to do anything. Sometimes when I do manage to pres X on the tiff image, the PSP freezes then shuts off as well and stays off! Also when I try to launch cfwenabler from the game folder I get the corrupted data message. I'm seriously thinking about giving up, I do not know what the problem is
is the image in a folder called
"PHAT" ?
Yes, I used the image that came in the "fat" folder and placed it under "photo"
place the whole folder with the image in the folder under photo
your psp dosent already have CFW on it dose it?
No I have never installed CFW. I don't have a pandora battery and I heard this method would work without the battery.

for me this method dose not work if i already have custom firmware installed.
